Unable to connect BW system via SSO(Single Sign on)

Dear All,

I am trying to connect Lumira designer to SAP BW system via an OLAP Connection.

OLAP connection is defined SSO(Single Sign on).

But when everytime i select the datasource it prompts me user credential.Attached is the error.Even if i "Predefine" the connection by providing the user credentials,it throws the same error.

Please let me know if any of you have faced similar issue.

Thanks

Faizan

I'm pretty sure Lumira Designer is formerly design studio which had it's own SSO config outside BI.

You can check a KBA like this https://apps.support.sap.com/sap/support/knowledge/preview/en/1992282 and do the reverse (to ensure it's not set for SSO) then you shouldn't have that hard coded SSO in the password field and that should get it working.

Do you have any other clients like information design tool, or webi rich client, those wouldn't have a configuration liek this and should just work.

Are you able to connect via any other client tools specifically IDT (information design tool)? If predefined fails then SSO will almost certainly fail as well, it is a prerequisite that the connection works with predefined before even setting up SSO. I don't see much of an error the best I can tell from your screenshot the BW info may be incorrect.

This is happening with predefined as well.I predefined the OLAP connection with user credentials and saved. When trying to access the connection via lumira designer again the same window popups.

Not sure where am i going wrong.

I will try to login to BW system using that credentials(Which i provided in predefined connection),

One thing which i observed is that in the Password ,it always appears "Single Sign on".Even if i predefine the OLAP connection it does not get authenticated and the window popups with password as "Single Sign on".Seems like somewhere the text has been hardcoded, but i am not sure where.
