I am trying to activate Standard Objects in BI for SRM, and I have a question regarding object referenced both in ECC and SRM. For example, all the standard objects have BBP_VENDOR and 0VENDOR for some reason the DSO do not populate 0VENDOR. Do I have to go through anything extra? Also I have a problem with populated Buyer ID, I understand it references Business Partner in SRM but I dont seem to get it populated.
thanks for all your reply guys. I see 0VENDOR is mapped to 0VENDOR in BPARTNER. So I guess the value we get in 0VENDOR really depends on whether they update the field or not in SRM. We use ECC to maintain Vendor so everyone has their Vendor Number. I assumed that Vendor Number will flow through without any additional maintenance.
Also, I get zero records on BUYER ID Extractor, I was told that its only valid for Market Set Procurement System. What it does is forcing me to remove Buyer ID field in SRM/BI? Is that right?

Hi Murali,
0VENDOR is attribute of 0BBP_VENDOR-which in turn references 0BPARTNER.If u have installed the standard transformation or update rules, u will see a standard routine which populates 0VENDOR by doing lookup in master data for 0BBP_VENDOR(that is 0BPARTNER-as that is referenced by 0BBP_VENDOR).
So to get data u will need to load 0VENDOR attribute of 0BPARTNER.U can try to use datasource 0BBP_VEND_ATTR for that.

Rathy

Hi Murali,
You will need to trace it back to the source system and see if right from the transformations/datasource and source system mapping is properly done.
Check if the values are being populating in the source system by extracting records using rsa3 transaction. If it is properly mapped right till the Source Table, Then make sure the table contains data for that field.
Thanks
Sachin
