How do you get SFW5 to create a transport when activating components?

How do you create a transport in order to transport the activation of a component to the next system in the landscape?

In my sandbox system whenever I activate a component no transport is created. I have manually created a transport using system setting --> transport and then triggered the activation. The transport is not updated with anything.

Hello

Found this helpfull

Basicly it sums up to this

- You dont transport the activation of a business function, you transport ALL the business functions that you have active.

- You create the transport in SFW5  => System setting (top panel) => Transport

Switching on Business Functions - Switch Framework - SAP Library

Hi Rick,

it is only possible to transport the complete activation setup. Not a single activation.

The thread mentioned by Sunny explains some more backgrounds how this is done.

Thanks guys,

I had read the thread that Sunny directed me to earlier, but it didn't really "click" until read it again. I have tried it a couple of test environments and successfully activated an extension using the transport.
