Hi Sivakumar,

I am afraid, there isn't enough documentation available for treasury. It is more of on the job learning and SDN.

Of course if you are using migration then migration guide available in service place is good. But if it is a new implementation, then guide available in service place is good to a certain extent, but overall there is no guide available.

Hi Ravi

Thanks for the reply. I am trying to understand the SAP terminologies and the relationship and I need some help for better understanding:

Can you pl explain the following with some example?

1) ID Number (FWZZ)- What does this represent? Is like a security ID for example - Tata Steel?

2) what is the relationship between ID Number and the issuer? (But this relationship is confusing and how this is being used)

3) What is the relevancy of no of stocks issued in FWZZ? How come it is considered as part of cash flow?

4) My understanding is ID Number is most like a master data of a security.

Now coming to Securties a/c:

1 what is the relationship of Securites a/c, securites a/c ID, depository bank and Security a/c #. Can you explain with examples for better understanding?

It is really awful with so much functionalities and not backed up proper documentation. It is a real challenge for the consultants.

Hi Siva,

I will try to answer some of your questions though it is addressed to Ravi :).

First of all, a good book is available also in Amazon.com by Klaus Mueller. Thats worth reading. rest as Ravi said, is on the job and sdn.

To clarify your question, i will take real time data from http://www.nseindia.com/.

1.Security ID = RELIANCE ( It is the ID which is listed in the exchange )

Security Name = Reliance Industries Ltd

product type for stocks.

Then also in search terms tab , ISIN code INE002A01018 can be given.

Nominal Value is the face value on the stock. In our example it is 10 INR.

2. The issuer should be a business partner in the system. It is the company who issues the share. Else shares can also be issued through a bank etc.

3. Number if stocks issed in the IPO ( Initial public offering). I think it is just for information. Unaware if it affects cash flow. Though it might affect availability for purchase.

4. your understanding here is correct. It is master data for stock in fwzz. With Ftr_create, we purchase and enter transactions.

Security account details, can be linked to demat account details. NSDL is a depository bank.

Hope it clarifies.

Best regards!
