How to connect Document Center to SCP Document service

I have some documents stored in document service in SAP cloud platform. I want to connect it to document center and view the documents stored in document service through document center.

Is it possible? Please advice how to do it.

Hi,

How can I view documents on my mobile. What will be the high level development required for that?

Regards

Hi Sumy,

You cannot connect an existing document service repository with SAP Document Center as it is.

You need to develop a CMIS proxy bridge in front for document service. Then connect Document center to that repository as a corporate repository.

Help documentation for creation of CMIS proxy bridge for document service

https://help.sap.com/viewer/b0cc1109d03c4dc299c215871eed8c42/Cloud/en-US/76135da6711e1014839a8273b0e...

Help documentation for connecting an existing repository as a corporate repository

Also you can obviously create a new document service repository as a corporate repository within Document Center itself

Please let me know if you need any further information.

Thanks Saurav.

I tried the way you mentioned but I'm getting "Permission denied" error on trying to set the corporate repository.

1. I have created an application to host proxy bridge. Also created a new EcmDeveloper role and assigned to the user.

2. Created destination in SCP

3. On trying to configure the proxybridge to the corporate repository of Document Center, getting following error

Cloud identity is implemented in our sub account. So, I tried with cloud platform user details as well as cloud identity user. Still getting forbidden or permission denied exception Please advice if anything is missing or wrong.

Connection is established but with response 403. Image attached. If I try to access the application url link on browser, then also 403 Forbidden error is shown after login.

Thanks,

Sumy

Seems to be some problem with the authorization of the proxy Document Service bridge.

Have you followed the steps mentioned in https://help.sap.com/viewer/b0cc1109d03c4dc299c215871eed8c42/Cloud/en-US/ed1c6732d4214c68846ab9813b9... properly ?

You seem to be using the Platform Roles which is used by the SCP cockpit internally. Rather you have to use the application roles.

Saurav

Application Role was the issue. Now I'm able to view the documents in document center.

Thank you so much Saurav.
