Hi,

When I am trying to retire an asset by scrapping using TCODE ABAVN I am getting the following error.Ho do I resolve this.

Message no. AU133

Diagnosis

When creating the accounting document, the system could not find account 'Acc.dep. accnt.for ordinary depreciation' for company code INST.

Procedure

Enter this account in the account determination for Asset Accounting.

Hi Manju,

First set your COD with OAPL.

Then go to transaction AO90 and select your COA and double click on account determination and select your account determination key, which is assigned to your retiring asset's asset class, and double click on depreciation

In the next screen, enter an B/S recon GL account in the field called Acc.dep. accnt.for ordinary depreciation, which will be used to capture the accum ord dep for your assets.

This will fix your issue.

In AO90 -->Assign G/L Accounts , give the Account for Acc.dep. accnt.for ordinary depreciation

Your issue will be resolved.

Hi,

While executing the KO88 I am facing similar issue.

Not able to understand two issues.

1. Why system checking Accumulated Dep Account while Settlement

2. I have done all the Config related to GL, System allowing all the transaction in AA other than Capital Order Full Settlement.

System allowing me to do Partial Settlement but not Full.

Please help me on the same.

Hello

1 am learning SAP . please let me know how to clear this

i bought an asset . when run depreciatiion , the amout of depreciation correctly shown both accumulated depreciation account ( liablity) and depreciation account ( expenses)

But when i retire the asset F-92 only 5 line items are shown . The accumulated depreciation is not showing and profit/ loss on sale amount is showing without considering depreciation

Please guide me how to rectify this mistake
