Workbook Refresh

hi,

Need some help with the refreshing of workbooks.

Right now we are using a PC to refersh the workbooks every morning and save them so that the users can just access the workbooks from the roles with out refreshing the workbooks again.

We have started a project to broadcast the workbooks with the help of the precalculated server and I am comfortable in Broadcasting the work books.

I am having to refresh the work book and save them. The work book PC which we are using right now refreshes the workbook and save them. I am not sure if we have this kind of facility where we can refresh and save the work book with the help of the precalculated server.

Please let me know if we have this facility with the help of Precalc.

Once your workbook enters precalculation server it gets refreshed in the server and the mails sent to email ids will be refreshed workbooks.

But it doesn't save the refreshed workbooks, so if you open the workbooks using Bex you don't find it refreshed but the broadcasted workbooks will be refreshed ones.

We need to refersh the workbooks every morning and save the workbook so that the users can view the refreshed workbook.

this will save them time rather than refreshing by them self.

Please let me know if there any way where we can automate this.

Hi

In workbook settings in Bex analyser

there is a option of Refresh Workbook on Open... tick on that

Then try precalculating and broadcasting
