Hi,

I am new with SAP MII and I developed a interface that sends messagens for a WebService.

I created a custom view in NWA log and traces for monitoring interface. My problem is that I can not see messages that

created at the day before. Example: I generated messages yesterday but I can not these messages. I can see messages that I generated today.

Can anyone help me?

Sergio,

here are some ideas.

Which predefined view did you use as a temple for your custom view? SAP Logs, Last 24 Hours etc...maybe there is still a date filter working? Maybe you try another predefined log and copy it to a new custom view to see if that one works.

What log levels are in place for your logs? If you log events at level "Info", MII will log a lot of things, and the log will be filled up soon (and reduces your performance). This may be the reason why you only see entries of a short period. You can find the setting in NWA "Configuration - Log Configuration".

What do you actually want to monitor? Maybe it would be easier to set up some kind of custom table and log information about your interface using the MII tran you have created?

Hi Michael,

I am not using any template for the view that I created.

My log events is level "Info"

The need of the project is to monitor messages for today and also messages the previous day.

How do I increase the time of my log?

How do I get the message the day before in my log?

How do I set up a custom table and log information about my interface?

Here is a link to the help for the Netweaver Log manger settings if you want to mess with it. But if it is anything more than a sandbox I would recommend calling the systems administrator.

[http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/2b/09343e32ff1033e10000000a114084/content.htm|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/EN/2b/09343e32ff1033e10000000a114084/content.htm]

SAP NetWeaver Administrator>Configuration>System Properties-->System>Global server configuration>LogManger

If you dont have access to a databse in your environment you could write the results to an xml file in a virtual directory on the server using db:// or web://.

You can log onto remote desktop on the server and go to the

usr\sap\X15\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\log\archive

directory to get the archived log files and look at them directly. It is a very impractical way of looking at the logs though....
