if your program is install in c:\temp\a
You must go to delete this file :preferences.xml
this file is in this directory: C:\Users\myusername\AppData\Roaming\BISupportTool
where myusername is your Windows account.

Once reconnecting to 4.2 system it should detect that SDK change is needed. However, if this is not happening you can force it to use one or the other in Preferences-->General-->BI Platform SDK Settings-->SDK Version. Choose 4.2SP4+ and then check the box Force SDK Version and click confirm. It will prompt a restart of the client then try to connect to the 4.2 SP5 system.
