HCI load balancer works only for inbound communications?

Hi experts,

one thing I didn't understand is if the SCP Load Balancer is involved only in inbound communication or for outbound communications too.

Specifically, when an external application calls HCI with client certificate authentication, the Load Balancer is firstly involved. What when HCI calls an external application with client certificate authentication? Does in this case the Load Balancer get involved?

The SAP Cloud Platform load balancer is only in play for inbound communications.
