ECC 6.0 Ehp4 MAIN_NEWBAS/XPRAS_UPG phase RDDEXECL job dump

EHP4 with SAP_BASIS SP03 couse dump in MAIN_NEWBAS/XPRAS_UPG phase:

from job log:

Im Programm "CL_ENH_BADI_SORTER_CALL=======CP " ist im Include

"CL_ENH_BADI_SORTER_CALL=======CM001 " in Zeile 5

der folgende Syntaxfehler aufgetreten:

"Enhancement "FKK_SE_SORTER_FKKXI" is not defined"

Problem definition:

[Note 1292313 - XPRA: CL_ENH_BADI_SORTER_CALL syntax error|http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1292313]

Problem:

Shadow instance locked, and source codes are not modifiable by the system users

"At this time the start of the shadow instance is not possible,

since you have passed phase STOP_SHDI_LAST!!!"

Solution:

[Note 1223347 - Syntax error CL_ENH_BADI_SORTER_CALL|http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1223347]

1. Call transaction se18.

2. As the enhancement spot name, enter BADI_SORTER.

3. Choose "Display".

4. Choose "Activate".

It is not really relevant but working 😊

    Hi,

    great tip, we had exactly this problem while implementing EHP4 in an IDES (Using SAINT in 32Bit enviroment) and this fix worked for us.
