Hi,
Does anyone have any experience of the 'Ship Complete' functionality in EWM?
We will be sending lots of deliveries to EWM which have a ship complete setting.
But EWM seems to completely ignore this.
ie > we can create a partial pick
> we can process a partial bin denial
There doesn't seem to be any block or warning that the customer has requested a complete shipment. So it seems we can ship any qty against a line that is flagged ship complete.
Any advice appreciated.
Regards
Guy
Hi Guy,
Addition to Juergen , you can try Planned shipping HU Mechanism for Complete delivery.
Cartonization Planning ( I guess you might aware of this ).
Maintenance of Planned Shipping Handling Units
and check enhancement spot ( /SCWM/ES_DLV_GM -CHECK_DOCUMENT Checks Before Goods Movement Posting)for Complete GI.
Please let us know if you need further assistance.
Best Regards,
Ajit

Hello Guy,
of course it is possible that the system does not allow a split. You just need to know how to set it up :-). And obviously it is not set up correctly in your system.
Indeed the EWM outbound delivery order does not have a "ship complete" flag in the header. But when your delivery in ERP has this flag, EWM create a text item and a hierarchy.
Through that a delivery split is not possible.
"ie > we can create a partial pick
> we can process a partial bin denial"
THAT of course is still possible. "Ship complete" does not mean "ship all from one bin".

Juergen
