Hi,
Through our web browser (internet explorer) we are running our web templates via templates that are just links to other templates that are reports. So you might call it a BI intranet or something like that.
Anyway - the standard navigation buttons back and forward in internet explorer does not work. Instead we have to create similar links in the templates, which is a bit of a hazzle and seems like it really shouldn't be necessary. Anyone knows how to "activate" the internet explorer back and forth buttons when using WAD templates?
BR,
Niclas
Hi Niclas,
The function back and forth in the internet explorer only switches back to the HTML-page seen before in the frontend (internet browser) and doesn´t 'notify' BW about that step. This means, the session on the BW refers to another state as the display in the frontend (internet browser). Especially variables don´t work correctly in that context. Please review note 815611 for further informations.
Best regards,
Janine
