Hey experts,
I have some messages that are processed successfully. I can see them in the message monitoring for adapter engine in the RWB. I want to know if there is a way to export these messages to excel file.
Also we have a files archived by PI with a .001 extension attached to them. Is there a way to open these files and look at the processed messages?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards.

I don't think so.But you can right click.Select View Source. And then save the message in a notepad.

I don't get this! You can open these files by doing a right click.Open with wordpad.

Thank you very much for your input guys.
I have a request from the client asking for all the messages that were processed successfully for the past one month in an excel file. I went to SXMB_MONI and I see only those messages that are of yesterday's and today's. I know that there are archiving and delete jobs going on in the back ground. When I try to open the archived files in a notepad or wordpad, it is all greek and latin in it. I dont know what to do. Also I read that there is a table named XI_AF_MSG in which procesed messages are stored. As adapter engine is on the Java stack, I am having difficulty in querying the table.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Regards.
>>it is all greek and latin in it
The archiving jobs of XI will archive messages in Binary format,so you will see all greek and latin there in AL11.
>>XI_AF_MSG
This table is used to store messages from adapter engine,to access it,you need to query the database on which XI server is residing.
Please ask your basis person to query this table at OS level.
Thanks

The basis guys solved the problem as Aamir suggested.

Hi,
There is no such way to export the messages from the RWB but you can download those files from the abap stack using the Tcode sxmb_moni.There is option to download as xcel files.
Thanks
