Can I use a SAP Model Company on SAP Cloud Appliances for development and my startup? I am SAP ECO System Partner and I just need a pre-configured box with some transnational data.

Hi Hadi,

I am the MC Portfolio Manager. Thanks for your question. We are currently not selling our MCs to any partner. This might change in the future, but as of now it is like that.

If you want to learn more about ways to use our MCs, feel free to contact me via Andreas.Elting@sap.com.

Best regards

Andreas

Hi Hadi, If you are looking at working with S/4H, you can consider the SAP S/4HANA Fully-Activated Appliance. It can be delivered either via SAP CAL (with a free 30-trial for the licenses and for the CAL service) or can also be downloaded and installed on own hardware (assuming you have requisite licenses). On SAP CAL, is however primarily for evaluation/demo but you have full access to the environment and can apply appropriate licenses keys after the trial period and have purchased a SAP CAL subscription. You can learn more here: https://blogs.sap.com/2017/12/14/sap-s4hana-1709-fully-activated-appliance-create-your-sap-s4hana-17...

Hello,

To unlock Model Company solution, you have to own the SAP Product licenses and to get a license for the SAP Model Company Service.

For more information, see the SAP Model Company home page

Best Regards

I do have SAP product license but for development, testing and demo. However; I think that is not good enough for Model Company, you need to be a client and want to use it for production system.
