I have not been able to complete the installation of 2008 sp2. I am running Vista sp2 and logging on as a user with administrative rights. The installation looks like it is going good until it gets to the last bar and then it comes to a halt. I have let it go for over an hour and finally have to end it.

This also appears to be an issue when upgrading on a Windows XP Pro client. One of my coworkers ran out of patience, cancelled, and it appears the upgrade did succeed.
I let mine run to completion and it took about an hour and 20 minutes.

I guess I just need to be more patient. I tried it a third time and let it run, it eventually completed.

Yup, just step away from the computer or just do something else for an hour and it will eventually complete. pretty sloppy, but in the end, i guess it does what it's supposed to do.
I installed it on Windows 7 ENT and seems to work.
Anyone have a link where I can download the .net stuff such as the Merge Modules for VS 2005?
Also, a link to what's new on SP1 and SP2 for the designer and developer would be great! =D
