Creating Delivery Without Sales Order

Hi Experts,

Any one can help to know about Creating the Delivery Document without Sales order reference, how can we create delivery without referencing sales order and what are criteria we have to select.

hi,

If you are in standard system then there is no need of any special configuration required. SAP has document type VL01NO for creating delivery without any order reference.

Hi,

To do a delivery with out referncing to the order, you have to go to "0VLK" and then enter no preceding document required and Default order type for deliveries without reference to order in Order reference Tab. Thus system allow you to create the delivery without referencing to an order. Kindly please let me know If you need any more Information on this.

Can you tel in detail If for example we create sale order from sale order we will get the information about schedule lines, route

etc. If we are creating delivery directly without referencing sales order then how it possibole to do so.

Hi Mohammaed,

To do a delivery you definetely have to foloow what I have quoted in my previous answer. I not system will throw an error "Delivery type .xxxx requires reference to an order". "vl01no" Is the transaction to create the delivery with out refernce. Here system will ask you for the Shipping point ,Delivery tpe("LO"-- Standard delivery type for which no refernce required), sales org,dist channel and division. But you have to make sure that the Material is maintained in the Plant(The enter shipping point ans plant assignment can be seen in Transaction "OVXC"), and the material is maintained in particular storage location.This scenario is normally used for Stock Transfers with out Order Reference. Kindly please let me know If you need any more information on this.
