Spool is not getting generated

Spool Is not getting generated when R/3 standard program P60(RPCEOYG0) and P11D(RPCP11G0) are called from the portal. But spool is getting created when programs are executed locally.

Can someone tell me th reason for the same ?

Spool will get generated when programs are submitted in the background. Perhaps when running from portal they are being run online.

But I am using BDC to get the spool number in my RFC which will convert SAP script forms to ADOBE form by using the spool id which is generated through BDC 'call transaction' method. When I run that RFC locally then spool id is getting generated and also PDF string but when I try from portal spool id is not generated.

I hopw now my explanation is clear. Could you please through some light on the same?

Our standard program throwing printer popup which used to terminate the user when the standard program is accessed from the portal. Now I have copied the standard program to z-program and then i had commented the code which displays the printer popup and passed printer parameter manually.

Its working now.
