Issue in Adobe Designer

Hi Friends,

When I try to open the layout in Adobe designer from transaction code SFP, I am getting the below error when clicking on the Layout tab. I am also not able to see the data bindings.

"Unable to Load local library:<some path>"

Please advice what could be the issue.

Hi,

Check your Adobe lifecycle Designer version ( Version :ALD 7.1 and above is preferrable)

Check your Adobe reader version (Version : between 7 and 8 its preferrable)

Hi Patha,

We are using ALD version 7.1 and Adobe Reader Vesion 9.0. If I install Adobe 8.0 will it work?

yes, it will work

But, some of the events are not works properly such as button triggering and while handling the events in 8.1and 8 series
