Variant Configuration

Dear SAP Gurus

While configuring the variant configuration for example I have prepared a material called Nano car. For this engine is one character .it is having different values were maintained 1000cc , 1500cc. and completed the remaining configuration .

Now at the time of rising the sales order after entering the material nano system gives the pop up message where end user gets the option to choose either 1000cc, 1500cc.

Now my question is how the system identifies these engines ?

We did not prepare any material called engine.

Please help me in this situation

Hi,

This is due to the characteristic and class created - which is assigned in the material master classification tab. There will be a object dependency code written by our PP consultant which will give the link to all this.
