Sales Order refrence

Hi All,

A sales order refer quotation quantity and if it is more then quotation quantity for particular item, then it will show message that quantity exceeded as mentioned in Quotation.

For example, if quotation is having 10 units for item A, and sales order generated with reference to this quotation is more than 10 units then then system will show message "Quantity exceeded"

I want to know where to do this setting in SAP.

This can be done via copy control. Under copy control for quotation to sales order at item level - there are few copying requirements whcih can be changed to have this customized message.

Hi Nidhi,

Please check customizing for item category in VOV7, there is a field

"Completion Rule" in Business Data block.
