We are trying to use standard SAP script form LVSTAEINZEL with the print program
RLVSDR40 , to print picking list. This form prints a barcode of the TO number+TO item+warehouse number. The barcode format used in this standard form is BARCLVS.
When we issue the print, no barcode is printed. The print preview shows lines with same width (looks like a dummy barcode).
The Printer device type that we are using is SWIN. In SPAD we have configured a output device with device type SWIN and Host spool access method as F - Printing on Frontend computer.
Could you please tell us if we are missing something or if we have wrongly configured.
I looked up lot of SCN posts, it talks about installing BARCODE.DLL file, but I'm not sure if we have to do this as a mandatory, if we are using standard SAP script form to print a barcode. Because, when I tried the new technology barcode, everything is working fine, sure it is because the new technology converts the barcode as a graphic and sends to printer, so it is working.
Could someone please help us.
We do not want to create a custom form just because the standard barcode is not printing.
