SQL server login failed

Hi,

My client using MSSQL 2008 with sap 2007B patch 10 level.

But workstations is not get conneted with the server.

When user selecting server IP or name in window by changing "Change server" button and giving sa login name.

The following error window appears.

"connection failed :sql state ;01000

SQL server error :1326

Microsoft ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]connectionOpen

Connection failed

SQL state :08001

SQL server error :17

{Microsoft ][Odbc sql server driver][DBNETLIB]Sql server does not exists.

Please reply me urgently.

MSSQL 2008 need special client that is different from SQL 2005 Native Client. Check it out what SQL client is in use.

Hi ,

Please let me know what special client is required for SQL 2008.

I have installed SAP client,DIAPI.but getting error.

Please provide the solution

I misspelled SQL Native Client not SAP client.

Hi,

Is it necessary to installed SQL native client on all workstations?

Please explain me because on all workstation DIAPI,Client is installed.and from where i can get ODBC files.

Please provide me detail info on this.

Hi Hemkanya,

1.Check Are u installed SAP Native client in your client machine

2.Use trusted connection

*Close the thread if issue solved.

All workstations connected to Domain.
