Mass Updates of BOM excluding Set up

Dear Experts

I need to update the component scrap % for all the BOM excluding setup

Pls sugest me how to do that..

Hi,

As suggested above use CEWB, select SAP_ITEM as the work area.

Now in the following screen select the header materials or just specify plant if you want to modify for all, then press Ctrl + F9. Now select all the lines, specify the component scrap % in the corresponding column, then click on extras -> mass change, give the key date say today's date, then execute & save.

The issue is no body has the authorization is there any other way to do it..

Or we have to go for new role and autorization...

Dear Sriram,

I will suggest you to create a new role using the T Code PFCG,by assigning only CEWB and give the authorization to one user

for only one day.

This is the easy way of handling this issue.

Check and revert back.

Hi

You can do the mass upload of component scrap in MRP4 view in material master through MM17(mass maintenance).

If you update in material master all the BOM components will get update automatically, no need to update BOM by BOM.

We can not use MM17 becz the some componets used somany parts..

Each product the componet scrap % will change...

You can use the T Code CEWB for this purpose and for selecting the working area you can configure in OP77.
