EBS: interpretation algorithm 901 reads only 13 characters of UTR No in SGTXT field

Hi All,

We are currently implementing Electronics BRS functionality in our system. we have in ECC 6 EHP 6 environment and have implemented SAP Note 2032814 . However, interpretation algorithm 901 system is reading only 13 characters from UTR number and showing the same SGTXT Field. As a result, we are unable to reconcile the open items based on Payment reference (KIDNO) field.

Please advise how to resolve this. and how to fetch Note to Payee data UTR no.

Hi

I have maintained the Search string for UTR No. and also maintained the Posting rule and house banks for the same and BSEG-KIDNO field as a Target Field as BDC Field Name 1, Still the UTR values are not getting update in BSEG-KIDNO at the time of EBS.

Please guide to resolve it at earliest.

Not very sure but have you tried FI clearing rule(transaction code OBIA and OBIB). If you add KIDNO filed as clearing rule. But the problem here is user has to enter data every time. At the time of outgoing payment or F110 payment, you will get the KIDNO in both the document. Similarly, payment reference filed will get the pass from sub bank account to main, your algorithm will able to get the similar reference in both the document.

please share your inputs How KIDNO field will update with UTR No. while uploading Bank Statement. I am new to use Search string, please guide me how to use it to fetch UTR No. in KIDNO (Payment reference) field. My requirement is to update Payment reference (KIDNO) field while process the Electronic Bank Reconciliation. Thanks

Search string usage Target field: Bdc field name1 - bseg-sgtxt
