Synching contacts from C4C to Outlook

Hello Collegues,

we are using the Outlook AddIn. And our Sales Reps want to synch their contacts from C4C to Outlook. But they do not want contacts being created and synched from Outlook to C4C.

So I disabled the contact creation in outlook via the business roles (fields and actions -

GW_CON_CREATE - disabled).

All settings in C4C were done (in scoping and in WC Administator)

we have also marked all checkboxes in the settings in Outlook so when clicking on "downloading contacts" I would expect all contacts to be synched but there are no contacts downloaded.

does anybody know what is missing?

Hi Marija,

Try going into your admin or directly in the outlook app and deselect "Only download contacts related to me". If this option is marked, then only contacts your user has in the Contacts-> Relationships maintained will appear in the outlook integration.

You can test out by creating a relationship to a contact for your user before removing the check box and validate if it comes down to your outlook client.
