Take a look @ note

Note 41547 - How does report RSPO0041 work?

For the program RSPO0041, we specify some expiration date. Expiration date is set when generating spool requests, and has a default value of eight days after creation of the spool request. Transaction SP01 allows you to change the expiration date of a spool request.

program RSPO0041 or RSPO1041 can't deletes the old spools .Why?

Do u mean that the spool requests who have crossed that expiration date are still alive. ???

Take a look @ note

Note 147667 - Spool is filled despite RSPO0041

Note 852141 - Large spool request cannot be deleted

Thanks Ravi Kumar

I change the expriation date and successfully delete it .

but I still confused about how to set the expriation date automatically in 1 day instead of the 8 days?

and if the requests cross over it's expriation , why it is still there in the sp01.

can I let it automatically deleted if the request crossed it's expriation date?

Hi,

As far i know, when the user gives print the will have option for Retention period.

Suppose when u select print option, pop up comes asking for specifying the printer name in that Below u can find the properties tab.

with in dat u can see Output Options->Retention period-> where in user can select the Retention period of their desire.

But note that the maximum Retention period available is only 8 days, other then that U have DO NOT DELETE option.

Regards,

Ravi
