Mass change of COBL field in FBL3N

Dear experts,

I am trying to extend the mass change functionality in tcode FBL3N. I followed the inctructions in the note 324855. It works fine for fields from main screen and additional data screen on FI document line items. Now, I want to include a field from COBL, but I am getting the error: "Field BSEG-ZZFIREF7. does not exist in the screen SAPMF05L 0300". The reason seems to be the fact, that cobl fields (accessed per button More) are on a different screen (9999 in this case).

Does anybody has an experience with extending of mass change with coding block fields?

Dear Jürgen, many thanks for the hint. I tried to incude another tag but when writing SAP FI, Financial, etc. nothing came up. Thank for the excel, this will help a lot in the future.

just curious if you've ever received a reply to your question (maybe not through this thread though) or found a solution to the issue you're describing.

I'm currently facing exactly the same issue with a custom (Z*) field I added to the accounting block (COBL) through customizing: I wanted to enable this field for FBL3N mass change but keep getting pretty much the same error message (00/349) you were getting when testing out the mass change functionality using this field.

So far I was not able to solve this issue. And although it's almost six years ago since you posted your question, I'd be happy to hear from you, maybe coupled with some advice on if/how you were able to solve this issue.
