One customer is thinking to move to JAM from JIVE and asked if is possible to migrate all the content from JIVE to SAP JAM.
is there any option like this?
Yes, of course it's possible to migrate content from other applications like Jive to SAP Jam. Multiple customers have done that in the past.
Unfortunately we aren't allowed to offer an out of the box migration tool, but there's sample code that explains how to use our APIs to migrate content into SAP Jam. The same code uses another SAP Jam instance as the source for the content. That part just needs to be replaced with the Jive APIs. You can find the sample code here: https://github.com/SAP/SAPJamSampleCode/tree/master/jam_java_odata_api_sync_client_sample
SAP Consulting will also be happy to support you in such a migration project. Just reach out to your sales representative and they will be happy to connect you.
