BOM Window - Find Mode - Item No.

Hi all,

In the BOM window, in Find MOde, the search popup window shows the item description. Is there a way to get the popup window to show the Item Code instead. I have looked on the form settings but do not see a item number option.

Hi Jane,

If you open the form settings for the search popup window, the last tick box column is 'Show Description'. if this is ticked it will show the item description. Untick it show the Item number.

Once you have updated the form settings, you will need to close the window, then open it back up to see the item number.

Hi Jane,

It is a Default Behaviour of SAP, we cannot change Item code is displayed in fine mode.

you do the following work around

1.Create a UDF in Header level of BOM window.

2.Assign the formatted search in that UDF to display item code.

3.See the find mode option it shown the UDF field.

Formatted Search Query

SELECT $[OITT.Code]

Set Auto Refresh when field Changes is Parent Item

Set Refresh Regularly.
