How to delete Chart of depreciation ?

Dear

All Experts,

I am facing one problem. I want to delete the chart of depreciation which i copied from standard.

However I have deleted all rest ares except 01. Whenever I am going to delete it , system throws the

message " Depreciation are 01 can not be deletd". It is created in master data.

So how to delete it ?

Already I had one chart of depreciation and I created one of my own. So which chart of depreciation

system will use now ?

Check which chart of depreciation have you assigned to your company code. Whichever chart of dep is assigned would be used. No need to delete other chart of dep. In case the assignment is incorrect change it.

Chart of depreciation assigned to the company code will be used.If you want to change do the same in the assignment.

Coming to deletion of chart of depreciation please do the same in transaction EC08
