SSO between BO and EP failing when using App Integrator

Hi All,

I am exploring the poosibility of integratig EP7 with BusinessObject reports using app integrator. I have followed the below steps however the SSO is not working.

Steps I followed to integrate SAP EP with BO

1. Create system using u201Ccom.sap.portal.howtos.webappu201D template.

2. Create System Alias and perform required user mapping.

3. Create iView using template u201Ccom.sap.portal.appintegrator.sapu201D with following values

a. "URL template" as "<System.protocol>://<System.server>:<System.port><System.uri>?<Authentication>".

b. "URL template fraction for user mapping" as usernameTextEdit=<MappedUser> &passwordTextEdit=<MappedPassword> (view source of the BO login page suggests these value as variable names. Other variable names like username, password & user, pw are tried as well)

4. Create Page/Workset/Role and assign to user.

5. Access iView, where the login screen still appears.

Any help will be highly appriciated.

Thanks for the link,

However I am looking for using App integrator for integration as I have Oracle (not BI) as my backend system for BO. I have no clue what entries to be filled in for "connetor" in systems in my case.
