Internal Order Settlement : Capital Asset

Hi All,

I want to Capitalise (settle) part amount of an internal order and keep the rest amount.

when i give percentage to be settled, it shall settle only the percentage specified against the Final Asset.

Whereas it capitasiles full amount.

Secondly would like to ask, can i put less than 100% for internal order settlement.

If yes, then what will happen if expensses are incured to the same Internal order after settling less than 100 percentage?

Regards,

Mayur

Hi,

You can capitalize (settle) part amount of an internal order by selecting the partial capitalization.

If you put less than 100% the remaining percentage of amount still remains in Internal Order.

Thanks,

hi

The orders will be settled to the % which you specified remaining value will be available in the same order.

instead of % you can also use Amount field.

Thanks for the reply.

Actually i have to Capatilise part amount only, but system is not allowing me to settle that amount if i specfy the exact amount in the coloum next to percenatge.

Ex: Out of my 100 Rs Expenses i need to capitalise 30 Rs. But when i put Rs. 30, system doesnt allow me to settle.

I can do by entering 30 % for amount for above example. But then Expenditure may above 100.

If in future any amount is added to 100, then how will system behave.

I have excuted KO88 with Automatic Settlement and created Settlement Rule.

Now if i go for the Final Settlement or Paritial settlement, and put the part amount system does allow me to settle.

I am inputting only amount and not percentage.

Thanks,

hI,

Try defining the "PER" in settlement type column in your settlement rule... % u mention should work...

After the periodic settlement done as per above rule, if any additional postings done on the order, when u do u r next full/part capitalisation run, only incremental amounts will be taken for settlement.

hi,

In system apart from AUC, only 2 settlement type have been defined "FUL" : Full Settlemnt & "PRE" : Preliminary Settlement.

No "PER" type is been defined.

Can you tell the configration path.

In SAP Help too PER was described. Please tell the exact functionality of PER

Thanks,

I am using KO02 in that settlement tab for Settlement rule.

And KO88 for settlement. I am seeing in the F4 values of the settlement type coloum.
