XL Reporter Error: Permission denied

Dear all expert,

I'm having problem when running xl reporter. The error is "could not start Microsoft Excel. Micosoft Excel is required to start XL Reporter, Error, Permission Denied..There is already installed microsoft excel version 2007 and I already set-up the macro settings.

Pls help

This error is encountered for two specific user only. One client PC have both MIcrosoft Excel 2003 and 2007.

Other client PC with Microsoft Excel 2003 version only have also encountered this problem, same thing with client PC that have only Microsoft Excel 2007 version.

Hi

Remove the XL reporter and Office both on the Client Machine.

Install Office 2003 or 2007 and then again install XL reporter.

Hope this will solve the problem

Do you or did you have Excel 2003 also on this machine?

HI Gordon,

We did not upgrade our patch level (PL41) and XL reporter before is running. Then one day the user encountered this problem )without any changes done in SAP Business One. I already checked the task manager if theres any pending Excel process.
