Update control of movement type is incorrect

Hi All,

When user is Doing Good Receipts in Purchase orders & when it comes up he gets this message: Update control of movement type is incorrect (entry 201---B-V).

Any help is appreciated.

Hi John,

It seems that maintainance of movement type 201 has been incorrect, so go to OMJJ Tcode and search for 201 movement type... and just check whether the Dynamic availability check for goods movement tab is with Warning mesg or with error mesg ?

according to indicator updated over there please confirm with your implementor why he putted the Error mesg over that point as standard way is to put the Warning not a error mesg.

Please check at your end and do needful.

Looks like movement type config of 201 has not ben changed properly. Check the movement type configuration, the error you have described is realted to that only. The value string may be wrong or for the combination B & V there is no config maintained
