kindly provide information about licensing of direct connect server, is it the same way as ASE licensed ?

or there is no sybase licenses are applicable for direct connect servers

Direct Connect is available with Replication Server Heterogeneous Edition (RSHE).

So the same RSHE license or a static license should be avaialble for you.

BTW what are the source and target database flavors you want to use with DC ?

For ASE to Oracle there is better product Express Connect to Oracle

And for ASE to HANA there is Express Connect to Hana.
