Saving place under usr/sap/trans/EPS/in

Hi!

I would like to clean up my usr/sap/trans/EPS/in directory.

This directory contains mostly the .PAT-files from SPAM/SAINT patches of the ABAP stack.

When I go to tcode SPAM --> Electronic Parcel Service Inbox I can see all of these .PAT files.

These files have either status "C" (collected from EPS service) or "D" (parcel was deleted).

Question:

Which files can I delete via SPAM --> Electronic Parcel Service Inbox?

Any helpful information will be very appreciated!

You can delete any file that has already been implemented and you won't use in the future.

This not necesarily has to be done via SPAM or SEPS, but can be done via OS with the same results.

You may choose to delete them manually as suggested to you. But I would check import status via SPAM once to avoid inadvertent deletion of the files.

Hi,

As told by all, Just login to OS level. See if the file u wanna delete is already imported. If so just delete them.

As they are of no use once imported into system.

if u have any drive to dump all such files, better go nd place them there. So that later if u want to import those files to any other system u need not have to download onceagain.

HI Holger,

unless you have any .SAR or .CAR file that is placed and has not yet been imported to SPAM.......you can delete everything else.

If you have not imported, then you will have to save the .CAR /.SAr file again.....no other issues.

Hope this helps.:)
