Canu2019t open any Display/Change connections between selected actions

All experts,

I have a problem with Integration Scenario. I have created a scenario and deployed it onto directory and things are working fine. All of a sudden, in my integration scenario in repository, I canu2019t open any connections between selected actions. If I edit the scenario and try to open the connection it does opens but after that the entire repository hangs. I have to use task manager to kill it! Also it locks the object and I have use Administrations to unlock it! Its happening to all the scenarios under software components. Need some help from experts here.

This sounds like a bug. I assume you are using PI 7.10?

Apply the latest XI patches for your current SP release. This should resolve this issue. The components that you need to patch are:

SAP-XIAFC

SAP_XIAF

SAP_XIESR

SAP_XITOOL

MESSAGING

CORETOOLS

Hey

Are you working on the same machine on which XI is installed?

If yes,its possible that due to load on machine the processes hangs in between.

If no,then please check the network connectivity between your local machine and the XI server.

Hi rparhi,

Plese check wether u have selected the corect Sofware product, and component while defining the Integration Scenario.Some times the problem arises because of assinging incorrect compnent and product.
