Sales Price List - Data Source - data missing

Dear Experts,

Our custoemr would like to analyze sales price lists with ByD built-in analytics.

They have customer-specific price lists, customer-specific discount lists and - of course - a base price list and would like to compare respective entries per customer and product.

My approach was to set up several data sources on the BO SalesPriceList and join them on product to get prices and discounts together so users can compare them.

Unfortunately, I was already stopped at the first step when I tried to create a new data source that would display prices of one price list (e. g. the base price list).

As far as I understood it, prices are stored in the node SalesPriceList.PriceSpecification and the subnode SalesPriceList.PriceSpecification.PropertyValuation contains further information on the price reference object.

After creating a data source on this node (see screenshots), upon testing it via Business Analytics WoC, there are only 8 results althought the base price list has prices for several thousand products...

Business Object structure of "SalesPriceList"

Create new data source "SalesPriceListSpecificationProperty"

Define data source fields for data source "SalesPriceListSpecificationProperty"

Although the base price list has many products...

...the data source shows only 8 entries in the preview

I tried a lot of selection parameters but couldn't get anything out of this.

Could anyone please explain to me what I am missing here?

Best Regards
Pablo

Hi Pablo,

This particular business object SalesPriceList is maintained slightly different than others. The straightforward way of creating a data source and hoping to see the results, does not work. You might need to make use of the webservices published for this purpose, or create a solution via SDK and fetch data into another custom built business object to be able to see the results & reports that you need.

Thanks
