Calling a batch file from SAP MDM Workflow

Hello All MDM Gurus,

I want to call a batch file from my SAP MDM Workflow.

Can anyone help.

Hi,

This cannot be achieved using standard MDM workflows because MDM workflows are light weight and support the basic functionality however using MDM Java API you can achieve this. You have to use the classes of MDM workflows and track the desired step after which you want to call the batch file. Also the code for calling the batch file would be written in java only.

Can this be archived for Thick client like MDM Data Manager?? Or do you have to deploy to Portal for this??
