Asset Deleted

Dear Friends,

We are working on streamlining our Assets,

I transfered the Values from one asset to another asset now the old asset value is zero

when i run the Asset report its appears in the AR03 and other reports as transfer values and Net Book Value is zero

Our Management dont want to display those assets in the Asset Reports

Please suggest how can remove those assets in the Assets Report

Thanks

Bharath

Assets that have values must be completely retired before they can be deleted.

If there is no posting to the asset, you must manually remove the capitalization date using the Change asset function. You can use the Change old asset function to set a deactivation date for an asset transferred from a previous system that does not have postings.

What this means is that anything with an entry with a value cannot be deleted unless you retire it, but that if you have assets that have no transactional value and the capitalization date is set manually then you need to deactivate it (or possibly simply 'delete' the capitalization date in the asset master) before you can before you can "Physically Delete" the asset with Tcode AS06.

    I hope this helps.
