Metadata provisioning with ArchiveLink or SAP DMS to external Content Repository (Sharepoint)

Dear Experts,

we are planning to store attachements from SAP CRM within an external Content Repository (Sharepoint). In addition to the physical storage we would like to save for each attachement meta data (opportunityID, customerID, etc.) in Sharepoint. This is needed in order to structure those documents based on Opportunity ID.

Is any integration technology in SAP capable of sending meta data along with an attachement to an external repository like Sharepoint?

I already answered your previous mail, and this time I can confirm that the solution you're looking for is YAC !

YAC allows connecting SAP to Sharepoint and storing all attachments with their original filename into automatically generated folder structures (on basis of configuration). It can also send supplementary metadata to Sharepoint.

YAC comes in the form of pure ABAP add-on, so very quick and easy to install. It is not specified in the datasheet but YAC also supports CRM, and works for all types of attachments (SAPOffice, GOS, Archivelink, etc.) and in all screens (GUI, Fiori, GUIHtml, WebDynpro, etc.)
