Internal Number Assignment for Serial Numbers

Can you use internal assign alphanumeric numbers in the system?

Also is the creating of serial numbers at the purchase order stage possible?

Hi

Serial number can be assigned only when we receive the goods i.e when we post the goods receipt - it cant be assigned while the PO creation itself.
