LX29 - No fixed bin storage type could be found for selection

Hi experts, I have the following question:

When I try to check LX29 tx to my storage type SB2, it apperars a message saying " No fixed bin storage type could be found for selection".

I'll give you some data that I found somewhere that could be related to this:

I checked in MLGT table and I found records of materials that are storaged in some bins of SB2 storage type...

The picking strategy of storage type SB2 is I

Do you know why the system is giving me this message in LX29?

Are you really getting the same error message (L1134)? I also used putaway strategy "I" in V_T3010-STEIN and I got the mentoned error message. after changing V_T3010-STEIN to "F" the report didn't give that error message again.

Did you changed the proper field of the storage type? Did you changed V_T3010-STEIN of the proper storage type under the proper warehouse? Did you use the same WH/storage type combination on selection screen?

If you have a fixed storage type defined on the selection screen of LX29 you have to choose one option (see the checkboxes of selection screen). else you will get error message L1135.

Thanks Csaba! But another question, I have I in putaway strategy, so you're write. But I changed it to F just to try, and in LX29 it still appears the same message. Do you know if it is neccesary to make another modification to allow LX29 works with a storage type?

Hi,

SAP checks whether storage type's putaway strategy (T331-STEIN) is "F" (fixed bin). If not you will get error message L1134.

("No fixed bin storage type could be found for selection")
