Activation of objects in R3AM1

Can anyone tell me how to activate the Businness adapter objects which are available in R3AM1.

What is the importance of that

HI,

i have found where to activate or inactivate the objects.

type R3AM1---> go to---> clcik on customizing objects.There you can activate or deactive the objects.This will have impact on replication and filtering
