Hi,

Do the items appear in the worklist if you perform a manual refresh (using the Refresh menu item in the top right corner of the iView)?

You can try to enable delta pull mechanism : [Enabling Delta Pull Mechanism|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/eb/101fa0a53244deb955f6f91929e400/frameset.htm].

Hi,

When a new work item is created, does it appear immediately in the worklist in the backend?

Is the UWL connection status to the system successful (menu > display connection status)?

...When a new work item is created, does it appear immediately in the worklist in the backend?...

I'm facing trans. SBWP and doesn't seem to apper any new document or workflow.

Could you specify where I can find that?

Hi,

Well, you may have a problem with the backend if the items are not created in the manager's inbox. The UWL get the items from the Business Workflow.

The "Display Connection Status" link is in the same menu as the Refresh link on the first page of the UWL (top right corner of the view).

HI jesus,

First check weather RFC destination is created for UWL or not .

IF destination is not created create the destination for UWL.

1. Open the Visual Administrator.

2. Navigate to the Cluster -> <INSTANCE ID> -> Server <SERVER NAME> -> Services -> Destinations.

3. Double click on Destinations node.

4. Under Destinations select RFC node.

5. Click on "New" button.

6. In the "Enter destination name:" input dialog give as destination name the following: <SYSTEM ALIAS>$<UWL CONNECTOR TYPE>

(e.g.: BXTCLNT100$WebFlowConnector )

7. Fill in the following fields: System ID, Message Server, Logon Group, Language, Client, Username, Password. The other fields remain default. (Make sure the user you specify has "SAP_BC_UWL_SERVICE" role assigned. This is needed to fetch the technical informations from the backend.)

8. Click on the "Save and Test" button

9. "Successfully connected to system <SYSTEM ID> as user <Username>" info dialog has to appear.

10. In other cases check the settings again and check the connection to the backend system.

So when the RFC is ready

1. Restart the UWL service from System Administration > Support

> Portal Runtime > Application Console > com.sap.netweaver.bc.uwl

press the refresh button near the top right of

the screen below "state" (instead of pressing the refresh line as

described before)?

2.Then clear the UWL cache again, log off, log on, go to UWL and press

refresh and test again. If that does not help, kindly attach the defaulttrace this time.

Thanks& Regards,

Surekha.
