Error in fact.eval

Hi experts,

I develped the Buyers rules demo application and i executred it successfully and i am getting the results correctly..

But after some time i opened the same application and if try to execute it 's giving the some values i am getting the following error

Name of the Buyer:John

Spending Habit of the Buyer: Good

Buyer's Credit: Good

Discount Set:

Error in fact.eval

Can any one help me to solve in this issue

Hello Viswa,

I think the following forum thread will be of use -

In the steps you have mentioned here, did you make any changes to rules and redeploy it? Or are you getting this error even though no changes were made to the DCs?

Hi arti,

no I didn't changed any thing in the DC...

Initially it's working perfectly....but after some time i tried to check the application again it's giving that error....

I am having the Server and Client in a single PC....

Is it internal problem or related to server..

Hi Viswa,

normally this error occurs whenever the engine is unable to refer to the ruleset which we have defined. This may becaue of unsuccessful deployment, i mean internally some problem when deploying the project.

Try to redeploy the project.

Hi Viswa,

Can you please send us the exception stack trace?

Also can you answer these following questions -

(1) Are Java objects used in rules?

(2) Is the invocation failing after the client application which calls Rule Engine is re-deployed?

There is no problem in DC's it's internal problem only...

Now it's executing correctly...
