Applying Enhancement Package 4 - ECC6.0

Hi All,

We want to setup a ECC 6.0 server, with the latest enhancement package (EHP 4), that comes with the business suite 7.0.

I have read somewhere that the server's support package level should be the latest one before applying the enhancement package. Is that true?

If so, is it possible to get a ECC installation with all the support packages bundled together?

Or do I have to install the ECC 6.0 server and manually update the packages?

The ultimate goal is to reduce the time needed to setup the server.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jeevitha

    Hi

Patching the server to the latest SP stack - wouldn't this be time consuming?
As per our current estimate - this step itself takes about 8-9 days to complete even without any issues

Its not the case as this is the new installation i dont thing you could face any problem with patching and it could finish in 1 or 2 days

Do I have to download the Kernel, ABAP... patches seperately and apply them sequentially? Or is there exist any other way to move to the latest SP stack.

Go with Stack downlaod which includes every thing

Apply latest kernel first and then go with SP stack application

    Regards
