Hi, experts.
Please tell me logon user for BW connection.
If "Current User" is set in SM59 in stead of "ALEREMOTE", what happen?
Do someone have experience about it?
BestRegards.
MK
Hello, this is not the right tag as this is a BW question
I also recommend searching - I did and found these threads: https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/Security/Best+Practice+-+How+to+analyze+and+secure+RFC+connect...

Hi,
Currentuser - is one user as defined at SU01. if it have authorization same as ALEREMOTE then would work to connect RFC connections.
But your id will wont be as current user. your id also need to have same roles/authorisation as ALEREMOTE.
please liaise with basis team.
Thanks

your current user will not have the necessary authorizations to connect to a source system.
