Internet Issue

Hi Guru's

While i try to open the documents through internet i am getting the error as

SAP Note

The following error text was processed in the system:

BSP exception: Application sap/cvaw_document_search cannot be started. Create an application node using Transaction SICF

Can any one guide how to solve this issue.

hi,

But when you try to create the application node using the Tcode SICF, you are unable to create the node for the application "cvaw_document_search" since it is more than 15 characters.

The behaiour is due to S-note 1009764 which restricts the application name to a maximum of 15 characters. For solving this issue and avoiding such error in the future please implement the SAP note 1038797. Please see the note 1038797 and use the report 'BSP_UNLOCK_LONG_APP' to unlock the former BSP pages. Therefore you just have to execute the report in SE38 and enter the page name 'cvaw_document_search'. After pressing F8 the page is unlocked again and should work in WebDocuments.
